- NANCY COLE OF THE MV MUSEUM: Review CPA Historic Preservation Funds application from the MV Museum for the second half of the artifacts restoration and cataloguing project--$8,610. The first appropriation was for $8,610 in April 2012. The project will start this fall. The Community Preservation Committee will require an opinion from the Historical Commission.
- DUKES COUNTY MANAGER, MARTINA THORNTON: Review CPA Historic Preservation Funds application from the Dukes County Commissioners and Manager for an additional appropriation of $7,670 as Chilmark’s share to restore the remaining 26 windows at the County Courthouse. The total project cost for phase II is $72,150. The previous appropriation was for $5,545 in April 2010 and was for fewer windows. The Community Preservation Committee will require an opinion from the Historical Commission.
- JIMMY MORGAN: Request $2,500 of the CPA stone wall restoration funds for a wall on Middle Road—across from Tilton Farm Road. This project was started when Todd was working with you.
- MEETING MINUTES: Review July 26, 2012 meeting minutes.
- NEXT MEETING: The next regular meeting would be scheduled for Wed., November 21 – the day before Thanksgiving. Would you like to change the date?
